a local group of helpers in the Delaware Valley community who value mental health
The Delaware Valley Mental Health Collective exists to sustain and strengthen the well-being of all health and social services professionals as they care for others in a rapidly changing and uncertain world. We welcome participants from every discipline—peer support specialists, social workers, counselors, nurses, physicians, PMHNPs, and others—recognizing that mental and physical health are inseparable and that all providers share responsibility for holistic care.
In a time when access to mental health services and social supports is shrinking for those most in need, our collective offers a place to restore hope—reminding one another, as Mr. Rogers once said, to look for the helpers- you will always find people who are helping. We seek to be those people. Through five to six gatherings each year, we create space for case consultation, education, and mutual renewal. Our mission is to foster community, resilience, and shared purpose among practitioners while acknowledging and addressing the inequities and injustices that shape health and healing in our communities.
